A speed test measures the speed and overall performance of your internet connection. It evaluates download speed, upload speed, and latency (ping), giving insight into how fast data moves between your device and the server.
The server is hosted in the Jalasoft Building, located in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Jala provides speed test servers to help users gauge their connection quality to Jalasoft resources.
Mbps: Megabits per second, the unit for data throughput. Higher values mean faster transfer.
Download: How quickly data can be retrieved from the internet to your device.
Upload: How quickly your device can send data to the internet.
Ping (Latency): Round‑trip time for data between your device and the server. Lower is better.
Jitter: Variation in latency over time; lower means a more stable connection, important for real‑time apps like video conferencing or VoIP.
